Jump Up Bass?

I know most people think it's just like dubstep bass but I really can't seem to get the gritty sound most people use, like this;

I try layering a few low gritty sounds together and EQ'ing them so they fit together but still can't grasp it?

thats soudin pretty gd to me. I think u musta just listened 2 it so much ur convinced it sounds rubbish... I know that happens to me when im halfway into a tune. Im sure theres more that cud b done to it, but i cant help with that, I aint too good at the technical side of this produing lark yet.
 
Cant really comment properly cos I listened to it on my phone speakers. Lol. I'd definitely say you need to re mix it down. The bass seems ok though! Agree with the post above. Will try and have a proper listen later!
 
Wow i think ur bass is totally insane, maybe try to eq it better. if this was mixed properly it would have sounded real great
I would worry more about the drums, something weird about the rhythm like a misplaced hit
