got back yesterday from a week in Jordan and my what a place.

The people are so friendly and helpful and the sites are mental.

    Few things we did:
    - swam in dead sea
    - swam in red sea
    - rode a camel across the desert
    - had a open top jeep ride through the desert
    - went to petra (place where the holy grail is in indiana jones but there is so much more to it!)
    - saw where moses looked to the promise land ha (xmas day as well)
    and so much more.

It also snowed which they havent seen in many places for 10-20 years (the locals gave mixed times ha). we got stuck in petra luckily in a hotel but not before having to walk through a river of ice cold water and snow to get out of petra itself. we heard stories that people were stuck on the highways for 24hrs and got rescued by jordanian army helicopters haha! what a place :inlove:

I will try to post some pics up asap :)

glad you had a good time apples. bit of winter sun is always good (y)

a mate of mine who's an archeological illustrator went on a dig to petra, he got laid in the entrance hall and later found out that, had he been caught, the local authorities would have chopped his knob off!!

hahaha how many years ago was that?? its not that bad over there i really dont think they would have! its not like going back 100 years they are pretty modern there, just not equipped for snow which is understandable. good place to fuck though!

I've been to Israel, Palestine & Egypt each quite briefly...

"Like mother like daughter"...Indeed, ur both covered in mud! I love mud baths by the sea. Did them on Spain everyday I was there. Got some pix wi me face covered were I look frightnin...

You know all the pix of you stood in the center with landmarks in the b/ground? My sister does that with my Nephew, and he's 14 now. Every holiday they've ever been on, he's standing there, like he's standing to attention...

I keep saying I'm gonna do an animation of all the photos, u'll see him grow up while the world and the locations change around him...

    Yeah...

But it's also slightly taking the piss at how regimented his life is...

Once he came to stay, without his Mum, but wiv a disposable camera, and he ran round happily taking pix of interesting stuff & I took some of him having fun & mucking about.

1st time on any photos that you'd know he wasn't a shop dummy...

Then his Mum complained to me that he wasn't on many on the pictures...
