Its not brought anything new to the table. The bass line and pattern are exactly the same, just half time drums and no snare.

The Grooverider remix was actually Optical on the dials.
And that was the one.
I think it's fine to pay homage to the roots of the music (a la Om Unit, etc), but keep it fresh.
You don't need to update those old tunes. They still hold their own.
