Why does everything old have to have a half time remix/work done? Just leave it the fuck alone!

Your statement has made me decide I'll not listen to this and leave it chalked up as "one of them".

Its not brought anything new to the table. The bass line and pattern are exactly the same, just half time drums and no snare.

I listened. It could have been done in this style a lot better (ala Skeppy or Clarity).

can't something be edited for use as a dj tool?

Consider the context in which this was made before slating it.

You can wank on it AND still accept what other people think.

    It´s not that hard.

on that basis then have you not listened to the grooverider mix? should grooverider have left it well alone?

I wouldn't play it, not too fond of it but I mean it's a harmless bootleg. Live and let live, or something to that effect.

The Grooverider remix was actually Optical on the dials.

    And that was the one.

I think it's fine to pay homage to the roots of the music (a la Om Unit, etc), but keep it fresh.

You don't need to update those old tunes. They still hold their own.
