FREE ENTRY - WED 11th August - IPSWICH

It's been a couple months since Rapsploitation Sessions threw down a jam...so we thought we'd hit you hard and for FREE this time around. Don't moan that it's mid week...it's free, we finish early enough for you to be home in bed by midnight ...and getting your 7hours sleep before work on thurs.

Who we got this time?
Only a couple of Hip Hop LEGENDS :

John Robinson & Lewis Parker

Scienz Life front man and MF Doom collaborator John Robinson recently teamed with UK native, Lewis Parker to produce the incredible new album "International Summers" and to celebrate they are coming to the UK.

Lewis Parker, as an MC and Producer is responsible for a handful of UK Classics in the early noughties by artists such as Klashnekoff, Jehst, Tommy Evans as well as being apart of the supergroup Champions of Nature. He also found success across the pond working with Hip Hop Royalty, Ghostface Killah of the Wu Tang Clan.

John Robinson made his name as Lil Sci as the front man of the group, Science of Life who shot to independant notoriety in the late 90s / early noughties. Then came the name change to his birth name and John Robinson was re-born. A couple of mixtapes and albums later, including one produced ENTIRELY by the metal faced man, MF DOOM, ("Who is John Robinson") as well as collaborating with FLying Lotus amongst others, J.R releases another album in collaboration with a legendary producer.

So excited to have these guys come play Ipswich! We've built a great reputation with artists coming to Ipswich for the great atmosphere - that is thanks to the people to come out and we'll try and reward you by bringing you the best hip hop from these shores and beyond... for as cheap as we can!

+ Delusionists
www.delusionists.co.uk

Delusionists are a London-based (via lowestoft) hip hop group made up of Ben Black (vocals/production), DBF (vocals) and Slim Pickens (DJ/production). Their first official release, Prolusion Plus, was released on 3rd May 2010 via independent record label Beats Laying About.

The group’s anticipated debut album, Prolusion Plus, was released on 3rd May 2010 and features production from established names - Kelakovski, Jon Phonics, Tom Caruana and Ed Strong - as well as Delusionists themselves. The idea behind the project was to repackage the previous year’s digital-only free release, The Prolusion, and add to the line up to revamp what was already a highly commended EP.

Hope to see you there,
please invite your friends!
