Shite!

I've got an important job interview tomoz, i.e. a job I want and need... and I have to do a bit of preparation for it, which would be fine...

Except I've got a recurring ear infection in my left ear...

So I can't hear anything on the left, (and if there's more than 1 sound at a time I just hear muffle) and I'm a bit dizzy, and can't concentrate on getting the stuff prepared. It's fookin' uncomfortable, verging on mild, constant pain...

Not looking forwards to the interview, gonna be sat there nodding deafly, going "whaaat's that you're saying?"

Spent the last about 3 hours reading forums and drinking coffee...

This sounds a little gay but get a hard boiled sweet & just suck on that for time it will help to clear the ears by popping them & also get some ear drops to clear that funk up.

I'll try some sweets...

I've had every kinda ear drops goin, and nothin's really sorted it. When the infection hits (after goin swimming usually,) the ear gets waxed up to try and seal the infection, or summat.

I've had it for years on & off, since swimming in the sea in Tunisia.

I had my ears waxed, and examined properly a few weeks ago, and there's damage to the drum, meaning my hearing's at risk if I don't keep it under control.

Get this...The nurse told me to pour some hot cooking oil in it, (afta checking the temperature to make sure it wasn't too hot with my finger).

I checked with a finger, it felt hot but ok, poured it in my ear and it was much too hot for that sensitive little ear.

Freekin burning pain, like I've never known!

Fuck man, hearing is almost as important as listening to a junglist (the only thing better is looking at junglettes).

Get that shit sorted. If one ear goes, the other can too...

My ear's still numb, and my mind is wandering to putting stuff off...

My interview thing is writing an article, which I can do, and part of me is saying, 'Oh, do it 2moro before the interview', which might not be too bad, and the last minute rush adrenalin may help me write better...

But I've got to scan and print some stuff aswell, but I just can't be fucked. Partly my ear, partly just boredom...:teeth:
