The most important piece of information to a possible new employer is weather you work well on your own or part of a team. If you forget that you may as well fuck the job off before you start.

are you joking? it's all about bullshitting about your talents and experiences. That's how I landed a part time job in a very prestigious company.

John Lewis Partnership actually :) been working there for 2 years and get a fat bonus every march which is normally 15-25% of what I earn in a year. Not too bad for a student eh?

If you get an interview, and they ask at the end "do you have any questions?".

The following 2 will get you the job:
"How did the position become available?" (is it a new role, did the old person quit etc)

"How are targets set and what do you think is the best way for me to achieve them?"
Ive used those 2 questions in every interview and ive got every job ive had an interview for.

Ohhhhh burrrrrnnnnnnnn!!! Also if they don't check the facts about past jobs the company must have some serious issues.

Yeah also make sure you ask questions at interviews! like Forau said, they will ask you at the end if you have any questions, make sure you ask them something!! Even if its just like what are the basics of this job, just make sure you get one in there.

1st ones my favorite. Its especially good if the interviews not going too well and you havent got much you can say, cos you say that and chances are it'll keep them talking until the end of the interview.
