So, it's coming up to a year since i left full-time education, and finding a job is becoming more and more difficult. I'm starting to lose hope.
I've been applying for jobs daily (on and off) and 99% of the time they don't even bother getting back to me.
've got my family on my back constantly, I can't afford to go out and do the things i want to do, which is affecting my already shit social life, and that is affecting my all around mental well-being.
what the fuck am i supposed to do?

inb4 OP is fag blahblahblah
inb4 get a jeeeerb blahblahblah
inb4 OP can't inb4

This, I wasn't getting any replies from CVs or anything I was handing out. Mates bird works for a agency an sorted me out, no interview no nothin just started a week later.

Was only temporary, I started 4 years ago, only left this year because my department got sold to a dif company

i was considering going to an employment agency, but are they any use to someone with no experience?

the thing is, i know i'm more than capable of doing the job, but with nothing on my CV to say so, how are they supposed to believe me?

yes yes and yes

companies are always looking for temps, and they require no experience at all in anything, then once youve done that job, stick it on the CV and make it look like it was really hard and important.

Yep. Exactly.

Im with an IT agency, so it works a little differently, and i was looking for permanant work, but any normal agency will throw anything your wayif they think you can do it.

You're at the moment in your life Joniel or whatever your name is where you need to be broken in so that you become acceptable to employers and the world of work. Fact is that's quite painful which is why you and most of your friends will try and refuse this first fence for as long as you can. If you had no money coming in at all you'd find a job within a week.

Personally I would just chill or koch whatever it is youts get up to (I've forgotten) coz a few years down the line (assuming you don't move up north or the west country) you'll have been assimilated into the work force and wont even remember the struggle you had to get your first job.

Also agency's and friends of the family who can give fake references will be your best friend at the moment.

Every start is hard but if u don't have money you can always do some small jobs like painting neighbors fence, cut grass, you can take care of garden especially in autumn because of all that leaves and shit like that.I personally painted fences in my neighborhood and earned some cash:)
