and I suppose i should make this thread postworthy by asking a question..
how much should I pay to get it serviced?

Pay? Don't be silly boyo! You good with your hands at all...? It's pretty easy to get them apart like, bit fiddly in places but i'd do it myself anyday of the week.. Depends on how much time you got and if you have zee tools
