Let me start by saying that i'm a dj and i'm only just getting into production lol.
Anyway this tune's nowhere near finished i just wondered if im going in the right sort of direction everything i make sounds crap tbh lol.

the intro has basically no interest for me, and the drums are obviously from a new producer. try searching around the forum for some drum suggestions. don't get discouraged, you should hear some of my earlier tracks!

i've only spent about an hr making it so far but what about the bass?

the bass isn't too bad, got kind of an old school sound to it. it needs a bit of massage too, but the bass is way ahead of the drums. just needs variety, and some atmospherics.

I've just uploaded a new clip, i've added a bit crusher on the bass and gave it more wobble, i've rearranged the drums but i'm still trying to find some better beats to use.

Are there any requirements to enroll in a music production course?
I grew up in Birmingham and left school with no gcse's so im a bit thick lol.
