The diffrence between rap and hip hop.
Rap is something you do and hip hop is something you live

    what are you on about?

plenty of people live a rap lifestyle just the same as people do hip hop or punk or metal or whatever.

he is a real wordsmith people tend to write him off because he was affiliated with death row and had the odd beff etc but if you take the time to listen theres wisdom in his lyrics.

I was always on the Biggie side of the fence, in the mid 90s you werent allowed to like both of them, so I never bothered with him. Plus I always credit him with being part of the blame for mainstream hip hop being as shit as it is, and ironically Biggie ended up adding to it.

he really isnt to blame for the state of rap today.

that portion of blame goes to people like master p imo.
