I really like the pre-order minimum target idea which the Playaz guys tried...nice to know that a label isn't selling an arm to produce their records too

the ideal solution would be a spreadshirt-type model where the label delivers the metalwork and the plant just prints 1 vinyl at a time to meet demand with no minimum runs.

just you wait though. this is where 3D printing will enter the market. they have already made the first one and they are refining it as we speak. If you see how far they have gone in the last couple of years..
