On the continent its liek no big deal in Italy and France....Just wondered had anyone ever tried horse and was it nice ?

Personally not sure what the big deal is, a horse cow, goat they all have four legs, can't talk and vegetarians love them ??

You gonna say cos people exploit horses as a means of transport/ entertainment they are not edible ?? ...hmm

    discuss

ho about dog it veitnam its all good to eat dog...why not here...imagine..Kentucky fried labrador.. oh yea

I wouldn't tbh, I think it's cause we class those animals as pet's and cows, sheep etc are not classed as pet's really. I'd try snake though, my bro-in-law's had it and he said it's like sweet chicken, mmmm snake burger with mayo (y)

Horse meat is beautiful, tried a few times in Girona (north Catalunya) back home. If you ever visit Girona (close to Costa Brava), there is a Horse meat only in the old city.

I think that the issue here with "edible" and "non edible" animals, whatever animal protection organisations say, has to do with how big and how cute animals are.

Chicken? not very big, no cute, no problem.

Dolphins or Whales? Biiiig! Cute, loook how they juuuuump out of the waater! To eat them is a crime against humanity. Must say that I tried whale in Iceland, and I highly recommend it! :D :p

I would only eat human meat if I really disliked the specimen, and if it did not weight more than 10 stone.

I don't eat any animal that has had a chance of being fucked by someone beforehand.
