Doesnt it piss you off that you go out and all night its just bang bang bang drum and bass after drum and bass all night long?

Wouldnt it be wicked if you could go out and have a band or 2 maybe a hip hop act and a dnb dj maybe a bit of dubstep or a reggae set or sumin rather than same old same old all night??

someone should do this...seriously...theres money to be made.

sounds like you have an idea you could persue tho as theres clearly not enough of these nights around

Theres probably loads of clubs which mix it up if they have different floors, Cardiff Union does a good night where theres Drum n Bass in one room, commercial type stuff in the other and another room run by Scene kids playing all screamo lol, be nice to go to an actuall rave with loads of different types, festivals do it!

I aint saying it's broke but it's like james off the apprentice said....maybe it just need's a couple of spokes fixing.

nutek you havent been raving for long enough to understand anyway, too much of anything is a bad thing, and at the moment with lineups for raves the way they are its slowly killing itself.

Nobody if theyre honest wants to spend the next 5 years going out to raves where its jump up banger 1 after the other for 8 hours until its time to go home, same with deeper nights no-one really wants to go out and hear break all night either.

chances are if you go to any of the bigger raves your gonna hear the same tunes plaayed by different dj's all night, Im just saying it wouldnt be a bad thing to add more variety to break it up a little.

does anyone actually agree with me lol??

I never been to a conventianal club nite.

Only experience ive had of a club is the Black Swan in Brizzle, 4 rooms, playing different stuff, dont like something, find something else, winning format i say

(well there was one time in this club in spain, but tht had UB40 on all nite and tht was amazing lol)

    or

Free Parties!!! Get to know, if you get to a good one you could have a whole variety of Djs turn up, hell sometimes one thing gets rinsed, but thats all part of the excitment, turning up not knowing what might be happening, something good always gets played in the end. And in the morning its always gonna get cheeeeesy, the best bit.

variety is spice of life, but so many flavaz in DnB its teh DJ's what need changing, or they need to stop playin safe at certain events..

yup definitely agree, most varied night ive been to is eclectricity at the custard factory last october/november sorta time which was quite good
aside from that as someone else suggested festivals are good for that sorta thing, check our dour festival in belguim (i know its not just a standard night out) but its a wicked little holiday, theres a bit of everything there, dnb, dubstep, hip hop (saw wu tang play there last year), reggae, all sortsa rock bands and electro crap

Raves of say d&b need other styles of d&b, i went to a pure jump rave and I felt ill! happy hardcore raves get incredibly monotonous after a few hours.

You need to check out Warehouse project manchester when thats on, serously every night is varied, from live hip hop bands to live dnb acts... Live jazz bands... Hip Hop Dj's, dubstep dj's, dnb dj's...

But to be fair I tend to stay away from club nights in manchester an just head down the pub for a few, an if I'm after a night of raving I hit up a freeparty always a mixed selection there from techno to dubstep to dnb to breaks to psytrance...
