Sometimes I analyze songs that I like to see how the professionals put them together
I just want a second opinion of this one tune...

Is the intro length 32 bars with the actual drop hitting 16 bars later at bar 49? I thought i'd ask because it seems puzzling to me

I bought the full version of this tune so it is the same in the full version

You're right, 32 bar main intro then drop 16 bars later. Whats puzzling about it?

Love this tune btw!

It just seemed weird to me to have it drop like that i wanted to make sure I was hearing it right
It just always seems impressive when musicians break the rules like that, it sounds good to hear things done differently
Ya the tune is sick

How is this breaking any rules? It's just to add some suspense to the intro.
If it'd drop it after 45 bars instead of 48 that'd be breaking the rules. But it would also sound screwed up.

I guess its not really breaking the rules because it is still on the 16th bar
I mean the fact that its not dropping on 32 or 64 is pretty cool

You're free to do anything in music really :) I've done 6 bar intros for dubstep and such. As long as it doesn't sound off, it really probably isn't.

ive made a fair few tune with 48 bar intros mainly liquidy stuff

loads of tunes have that kinda intro alot of subfocus stuff does scarecrow xray etc
