    Hey,
    got a gig down a local pub - strictly on the commerical tip no dnb :(
    anyways i thought i should probly get some insurance PLI.
    anyone done that can u recommend any companies etc?

    wouldn't the pub have a public liability policy? or do you want to insure your equipment?

    well im not sure if they do to be honest.
    im not worried about my gear. but if a speaker falls over and cripples someone....
    wasnt sure if i needed it or the pub

    Are you setting everything up?? You're speakers? I think in instances like these the victim would go after the owner based on negligence.

    Pub should have it's own public liability policy mate, because it is being held on their grounds under their supervision and it is their event then it would be them liable for the claim

    lol yeah MY speakers - my kit (well im borrowing the speakers and tripods)
    so yeah would be my fault then?
    know any place good that does insurance? tried to compare the meerkat but they dont do this kind of shizzle :(

    You don't need it mate. Even if your using own kit, your in a venue that should have insurance for this sort of thing, if they don't, theyre breaking the law.
