So sorry to hear this. I would have thought that producers would back things up on another hard drive just in case something like this should happen

A duo comprising Alex Green and Damon Kirkham, Instra:mental have been releasing music under that guise since 2000

u can normally get the data (or at least some of it) back by paying to have a specialist look at it....but ye that must be soooooooo annoying!

An IT specialist? Go to google -> search for any hd recovery tool -> pay for it or crack it -> copy data to another hd
But depends on the problem really...

Their own fault really, takes no effort or time to back things up.

Same thing happened to Breakage. Though his album turned out for the better...however still...im sure it doesnt cost that much to buy another external hard drive and regularly back things up on it.

Must be gutting, its one of those things you wouldn't think about unless someone tells you to do it, or it happens to you.

Good news for me. Most boring d&b I have ever some across.

And yea, you would think there would be some kind of back-up file?! Jokes

this sucks, it will take atleast another 18 months to make their album again i guess... still not to fussed though since there are so many good albums coming out in in the next few months that i could hold out till this comes out
