So i watched insidious this weekend, and what a complete pile of crap that was. but the one thing that struck me is the fact that it is just a remake of poltergeist.. anyone seen it also make this observation?? they've used the same setting, same storyline, same characters (different names/sex) and also i even noticed that some of the lines were exactly the same aswell... jus struck me as odd tbh lol

i actually enjoyed it... i was high as a kite though! was well jumpy... at one point i had a bottle of lucozade sport in my hand and jumped, so i squeezed the bottle and shot lucozade up in the air of the cinema! brool...

haha u joka, yea we were baked when watching it, i think it was more the fact that i noticed the it was jus a copy of poltergiest mid film and it jus kinda ruined it tbh

This film scared me and no other film has managed to do this before or since, although I think the eerie score helped it out a lot.

Really?? even when the dad travelled to "The Further", when they went into that bit the cinematography just reminded me of "Disneys the Haunted Mansion"

I thought it was OK.. went a little bit stuped towards the end which could have definately made it the shittest film in history! but they managed to do it in a way which wasn't 'too' stuped! overall id give a 6 out of 10. not as good as paranormal activity 1 by a country mile.

see, i kinda liked the mixture of epic cinematography (was nicely shot for the most part) and then the 80s hammer horror dry ice and bad costumes :D lerl

Same with most horrors, always become to far fetched toward the end.

Amity Vill is a perfect example first half of that film was shit scary second half just became stupid

i saw it a few weeks back, good video, poor sound quality...... was a load of fucking turd..... subsequently i then went and took a turd and it turned out to be more enjoyable looking at the turd than watching the film

    the strangers
    hills have eyes
paranormal activity (cant believe i liked that film!)

win... problem with 'horror' these days is people have seen it all before, jumpy or intense situations (as in 'real life horror') is the only way to go! not only that, people can see through special fx better these days too wich lessens the impact.

personally i love a bad horror film (70's films in particular), and i pretty much garuntee this film will have cult status in years to come (y)
