Hey guys.

I recently bought "Splash - Babylon", but i'm not able to spin it in a set of mine because if i pitch it with my Technis SL-1200 Mk5, it'll only get a BPM of 170, but i need 185.
Is there any possibility to increase the BPM of a track with any program permanently so that i could spin this track in one of my sets?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

so wait what ur saying is when the pitch slider is at +6 (or whatever the highest is your one goes) it's still not fast enough? Sorry - bit confuddled with the question

Well you say you're technics will only get to 170, so assume you've got it on vinyl.

So a program won't really help you, unless you speed it up on your computer then have it cut to vinyl.

Other options are, play it on cd, and either burn a faster version, or pitch it up on wide mode.

Or introduce it in a slower part of a set and bring the other tunes down a bit so they meet halfway.

Or buy a turntable with higher pitch shift values, my Stanton ST8 150s have the option of +/- 8%/25%/50%
