Incision @ The Corn Hall, Cirencester. 12/4/2002.

Incision is a monthly drum n bass night running in the Gloucestershire town of Cirencester, bringing with it a selection of the freshest and most cutting edge music available today.
First set duties went to original Incision residents Dj Terminal and De-Ad, and these two really made the most of their hour and a half, battering promo after promo, assaulting the senses of the slowly filling-up dancefloor. Unfortunately, being a promoter took its toll on Terminal, as he was having to run off to sort out various things throughout their set, leaving De-Ad the reigns. However, anyone whose seen him will know just how capable he is!
Nu Urban Music's Illusion and Terra were up next, showcasing some of the freshest tunes the scene has to offer. "The Lighter rmx", Total Sciences "Supersticious" and "All Over Me" were all rolled out with the upmost precision, and with Mc Loco hyping the crowd, the temperature was rapidly reaching boiling point. Seriously man, these two rinsed, and when the "Up All Night rmx" was dropped, more than a few eyebrows were raised!!!
Next up, Donovan Smith took control. Its good to see big DJ's that still have a true passion for the music, and seeing Donovan bouncing round the stage before his set, gave away the fact he was more than up for it! Seamlessly blending dubs, lesser known tunes and crowd pleasers was the order of the night for Mr Smith, and seeing the reaction to tunes like "Need U Now (Calibre rmx)" and "Mistical Dub", he knew what he was doing.
All too soon, and it was time for last set of the night, and also time for Chemical Recs/Crash Recs' Dj Poison. This is probably the main contender in our local Gloucestershire scene, and with such a talent, we feel we are being well represented! One thing I love about watching Poison is you know your gonna be treated to all the latest goodies from the cream of todays crop, and tonight was no different! Opening with Roni's "Playtime" set the pace for the rest of his set, and the standard did not drop once. "Thugged Out Bitch", "The Nine" and plenty of other rollers kept everyone happy until the last tune was put on, and then it was time to go home. Once again, shouts to all Incision and Dub Sounds crew!!!

Next event: Corn Hall, Cirencester. 24/5/2002. (APB - Formation)
