pretty new to Drum n Bass music, (my background is mostly in heavy metal and dark ambient) and I could use some feedback on my first serious attempt at some dark DnB.

yeah good work man kinda experimental on the drums which sounds nice. probably needs something else to help roll it through but i dont know what to suggest

u mean like some EQing? that's not something I know a whole lot about, thus far I have been using the presets on fruity parametric EQ. i also use considerable distortion and I love drenching things in reverb which could prolly muddy things up a bit but then i've never been into a very clean sound. thanks muchly for the input.

That occurred to me too and I tried a couple different percussion ideas (hi hat patterns, some ghost snares in various places, etc) but nothing just seemed to really "do it" for me.
