Today we unleash the second track for In-Reach Records 002 from Sicknote entitled 'Heat'. This release takes a trip straight back to the gritty tech-step sounds of the late 90’s. Thanks for DNB Dojo for the premiere. Worldwide release 8/03/2019

Finally, we have a very subtle alteration to the vibe with the altogether more musical number that is ‘Waxing’. Some exquisite soothing horns lace the punchy drums on the intro before taking centre stage and setting up the entrance of the bass line. As always, there is still plenty of weight behind this one, although it seems to tread lighter on its feet; a wonderful illusion created by the continuing presence of the slowly morphing tones floating in the background. Lulled into a full sense of security by the breakdown, the listener has this deceptive backdrop pulled from their sight to reveal the full power of the track, albeit only for a brief period before things drift back into a state of calm.
