In + Out bassline question

Is the bassline in this specific roni size tune is sampled from somewhere or originally composed by him?


in addition,is there any way to know if some basslines are sampled or composed by the artist?some data source maybe?

i rekon it wud be quite difficult to sample a bassline and use it in a tune unless u have a clean sample of a b-line, which is rare if it is taken from a record. obviously you get sample packs with sample b-lines in.u can sample a bass noise stick in ur sampler and map it across the keyboard. or just use a ROMpler which uses samples of say stirng bass to create the desired timbre. is this wot u mean? ur question is quite vague now i think about it

i'll try to be more specific...
i want to figure out if basslines are originally composed by the artist(it doesn't matter how,it could be keyboard,bass guitar,or software)or taken from another artist.you know..like hip hop artists sample stuff from old funk,jazz,soul tunes.
