I am finding it hard to find good single hit drum samples because of people who put up shit free sample packs and stuff. I thought this would be the best place to ask who actually makes good drum and bass samples and where can i find them??

There are actually a number of good free packs out there, the key is to layer what you find.

Alternately, you could sample your own, i.e. get a mic and record a pencil slamming against your desktop - I reckon that could make a fine snare

    Keep searching man.

I have been making track lately that use no samples whatsoever.
Everything is done in synthisis then resampled.
Try it out man, you feel a greater sense of achievement when you have crafted every single sound yourself
