Collab with someone / Put it to rest for 1-2 days and come back with fresh ideas.

I would have a riser leading up to the end of what you have right now
followed by a 8-16 bars of no drums / just snare or something with the melody but the introduction of a new sound
then i would introduce the new sound in the next part with the drums

So you mean the rise like the riser in the part where no drums are ?(by riser you mean like an upgoing swoosh?)or before?

And instead of the break beat like the 8-16 and then the break beat?

This is just a suggestion obviously
But you could throw a riser on at about 1:30 or 1:42 that leads up to the end of what you have right now
and then for the next part you could have a similar breakdown to the one at 1:08 except make it halftime, or have just the snare and no hi hats or somethign like that but also introduce a new sound during this part, also could probably throw another different style of riser in this breakdown
and then lead out from this part into the full drums again with the new sound

this new part with the new sound will have increased energy and oomph

Oh and by riser I mean some sort of energetic buildup but maybe more intense than the one you used previously

leave it for a while, make something different etc. then go back to it. it's surprising how much that works sometimes
