Having become a synonymous part of the Ram Records roster, Calyx and Teebee are known the world over as highly esteemed producers of perfectly sculpted drum and bass. So when Idiosynphonic came to us with their names, we couldn’t help but be ecstatic. On May 3rd, get ready for the heaviest Idio yet as some of the biggest names in drum and bass come together for one night only. This time we’re talking stalwarts – people who define the genre, and have done for the last 10 years, releasing the biggest records, and scoring the best slots around the world.

These guys are no strangers to what real clubs should be like, so instead of dainty 45 minute sets, Idiosynphonic are giving each headline artist 90 minutes on the decks to spread their wings and do some damage.

“We wanted to give these acts the breadth they deserve - so this time around, DJ's will be playing for 90 mins or more, in a special night of extended sets. Get hyped, get ready.”

With this line-up being so forward thinking, we knew that getting the boys from Critical in on the equation would be the right thing to do. With Kasra having started the label in 2002, in 11 years it’s become one of the best respected labels in drum and bass with a roster that boasts the likes of Enei, Foreign Concept, Break, Sabre, Cyantific, Marcus Intalex, S.P.Y and more. At Idio, get ready for Kasra to go back to back with his biggest artist, as he brings Enei to the decks in a rare back-to-back set for the pair.

And if that wasn’t enough, Exit Records very own, D-Bridge makes an appearance. Having always been a stark, inspiring character who’s bred his own malleable ever-changing sound ever since day one, Bridge has remained at the heart of drum and bass culture after he split from Bad Company in 2003. With his ambitions set on Exit being the next big Metalheadz, he’s ready to go full force into anything – with the reputation of his own skills, and his label on the line in every set.

And to top it all off, Oxford legends, Total Science bring a taste of the darkside, as they bring 15 years of DJing experience to the decks, paired perfectly with their sublime experiments in broken beat. Fresh from collaborations in 2011 with S.P.Y, the pair are ready to bring new blood to the decks, above and beyond the call of duty. Lifestyle recordings look after room 2 with back-up power from Conduct, Tomek N, Freeloader B2B Katharsys, Impulse, Sifi and Illusive.
