icicle sub bass/low-mid end????????

check weak moments, so close, spartan and lost hours. Its not just icicle he's one of many ppl that ive heard with the same kinda sub bass was just wondering how to go about it, i.e squares, saws, 808s or a mix. ide hate to find out its a preset on logic or summin. any ideas??? has any1 come close yet? am i lookin too deep into it lol

sounds like just a normal sub bass with a wobble to me.

god hes good. its reese ish sub with alot of charachter. he sticks with that kind of bass it would seem, good job too seeing as its pretty darn spiffy

yeah i thought it sounded reecish

my guess is its a mix of waves with lots of harmonics, some detuned and then the whole thing low passed to only let the bass through

It definitely wouldn't be a preset alone dude. It would have been processed with effects.

The Sub would just be a sine wave as most subs are. The top bass layer is def not a saw or a square wave.

Try experimenting with modulation which gives your bass movement.
