Was going to post this when I got back from work. Liking the title track Differentia as its a bit different, and Push Back because it's quirky and my wife likes to

I was just thinking, whilst I took a shit this morning, that Icicle hasn't released anything since his Entropy LP.

And here we are! Excellent EP, really feeling every track. (y)

Differentia is really awesome. Seems like he's getting at the top of the game once again.

Really it sounds like a Designandbass tune, parody of a parody of sorts, I don't know where that leaves us. But you all like it, not sure what that means either. Suppose its OK in parts

Differentia has grown on me. The others sound like they've come out of the neurofunkila machine.

we get it Icey, you can produce really well. Now get back to the groovy stuff. Actually this EP is giving me headaches no idea how people like this Differentia track. It tries to be different but fails because it will not work in any environment. It's too try hard different that it basically sounds silly.
Sure there's only so much 99 wormhole sound you can imitate and give your own twist but going from that to this music is, sorry to say, very disappointing.

Icicle used to be so fucking good all the way up until he started going all techy.

Crying shame what happened to him really, he was the best of that whole crop of 00s Dutch producers, but ever since the Floating Zero remix he has been unlistenable, undanceable, unplayable.

There is a copy of his Cylon release on Discogs for less than the price of a Big Mac, go buy that instead.
