Hi all,

I am presenting the Drum and Bass Show on DRS (Derby University's radio station) and one of the features on the show is the "Demo of the week". This will be promoting all you DnB producers so please send me your demos!

We are in the final stages of sorting out what time and day the show will be on, but it as a weekly show for 2 hours (we think) and there will be features and good content on the show, not just one song after another like alot of online specialist "radio" stations do (which can be dull). Launch date of the station itself is October 15th, I will post the details of how to listen and when as soon as I know.

So if you would like your demo to be played, link me up via zshare/4shared etc or send me an email with your track attached to akky99@hotmail.com .

Cheers

Update Guys.....

Thanks for all your demos so far, keep them coming in!

We are still sorting out the scheduling for the station but I can tell you that the show will be 2 hour slot between 4-8pm on a week night. Once I get the final time, i'll let you know!

But keep the demos coming in to my inbox!

Mike

ok guys, thanks for your demos so far. Heres an update like a promised.

My show will be on tuesday evenings from 6-8pm. (First one on 20/10)

There will be a 'listen live' link on www.udsu.co.uk . It isn't quite up there yet, but it will be by thursday. Just waiting for the web designers to sort that one out.

The main demo feature for this show goes as follows.

Demo Head-to-Head. We will pick 2 out of the inbox at random and put them head to head against each other. Me, the presenter, the guest and the producer will chose what we think is the best track. We will also be playing out the good demos across the show.

I'll give you a direct 'listen live' link when its up on thursday, but please do keep sending your demos in. We've had a good response so far, and is obviously good exposure and airplay for your material.

Cheers

Mike

Not at the moment, every show is recorded for ofcom purposes, but only the station manager has access to them. In the future the station will be looking into recording the shows, for listeners to catch up on if they missed a show. Hope this answers your question!

Mike

nah, the slot is 2 hours, 6-8 on tuesdays. I said that before the final schedule had been sorted, and all what the station call "Niche" shows go on air 4-8pm on weekdays.

also we are taking track requests for the first 30 mins of the show. What tracks would you like to hear? and if I have it, i'll play it out.
