Its the only place in the world where I can get away with some seriously funny shit.

For example, today I had to come into work on my day off to have an interview with a local newspaper for promotion/marketing. My job is as a senior teacher for a private english training centre, and they interviewed my about my job and took photos for the piece in the newspaper, not realising that my t-shirt says, in big bright letters, "SMILE IF YOU GIVE HEAD"
Can't wait for the newspaper to be published, will scan and post if/when it is published.

Not really, as its all communicative teaching, although it does help from time to time. And I don't speak Cantonese, I speak Mandarin, they only speak Cantonese in the south and in Hong Kong

being 6"6 I would imagine that everything is probably too small for me.

Also, if i committed a crime, I would stand out in the crowd.

    These are my first thoughts.

13 - unlucky for some, more specifically me.

    finding shoes is a nightmare.

Being 36 x 36 jeans doesnt help either.

He's got one of those Winkeys you have to support at the base with one hand & beat off with the other, moving his Foreskin is like rolling the sleeve up & down on a heavy duty Wax jacket.

Quite a lot of prejudice here. People will shout at me occasional, you get a lot of pointing and staring or, in the case of old people, sometimes they spit on the floor in from of you. They'll charge you more for something than the local, or won't sit next to on the bus (despite that seat being the only seat available.)
Language can also be a problem, as being fluent in a language is not about knowing the words but also the way of thinking. And its very difficult sometimes to try to understand their way of thinking.
Buying clothes and shoes is difficult as I'm kinda tall and got big feet, and there's a lot of things you take for granted at home but are not available here.

Saying that though, the positives far outweigh the negatives. Its easy to get a decent paying job and a nice apartment. The cost of living is so cheap that I can eat out every night, can travel around, have messy nights at the bars/clubs, buy clothes and dvds, and still have enough to pay the rent/bills/food, and even have some to save. The people I meet here are some of the the most genuine, friendliest, and interesting people, from all around the world. There's lot of opportunities to start businesses or be involved in big projects, and its also a good place to invest as China is on the rise atm. The girls are hot and totally freaky.

Was very surprised at the predujice thing at first, but then got to thinking & guess the traditional values held in China are very strong, so can see how this mindset could happen...

Sounds wicked overall though man, i've had a couple of Chinese chicks in the past, so know what you're talking about when it comes to bedroom gymnastics. :gang_bang

I'm kinda jealous cus' my ex lives & works out there in the fashion industry & I was supposed to move out there with her, before she ripped my heart out & flash fried it in hydrochloric acid!

    You've probably fucked her lol...
