Encore un question:

If I load in a bassline in malström and put a SCREAM Distrotion unit to it, and I maximize volume of the basslines, my drums/beats become less loud? How come ??? Why ???

That is because the bassline is taking all of the low end frequency headroom and drowning out your drums. You need to EQ, compress and mixdown your bassline and drums so they sit equally in the mix.

Which device should I branch to the malström ? And what do I have to change in those devices? I'm a beginner and I don't no yet how to compress or mixdown things properly.

i had this problem alot when i started in reason,

i used it for about 2 years and when something started cutting 1 out i would just simply turn the other one UP;.

by the time u finish a tune u got everything maxed out trying to make something loud enough so it can be heard over the top of evryfing else!!

they sound like shit now i think of it
