I just hurt my ears.

    I was making some bass, and apparently saturating, compressing, and boosting it with EQ but boosting it lower than 40hz seems to create some weird suction effect on my speakers, which hurt my ears. :|
    Probably my lack of monitors and untreated room had a part in this too. Although it might be ear fatigue who knows. o_O

    Probably more damaging to your speaker cones than your ears, that's what I read somewhere anyway.
