I HATE...minimal house!

Ended up at the end on sat night thinking it was gunna be a rude electro night and it was just pure shit minimal house in every room! It did my head in! Just a bunch of bleepy noises goin off with crap build ups! Its 'nothing' music!

Plus the first train home was at 5:45 ad we got there at 11 so i had about 6 hours of this! I was ready to cry by the end of it!
 
Lol, same thing happened to me, a night near me used to do a bad electro night but then it slowly converted to a minimal techno/house night, went back about a year later paid £6 to get in... Heard the music thought fuck this walked up stairs to the pub (the club is below a pub) there was a dnb dj on, an it was free.... Spent the entire night upstairs ravin away after paying to get in downstairs an spending a maximum of 10 min in there allnight...
 
Yeah i know what you mean, if i want to get home after 12 if i've been out up the city/west end it'll cost me normally about £50, i don't get black cabs, i prefer the dodgy asian cabbies that let you drink/sniff/smoke in their cabs.....they like to have a laugh as well.
 
i hate minimal, too. Fucked my ears, very simply and shitty.
i have heard a 2 hours minimal set from a friend in the backdrive (bus) from Kings of the Jungle (Lahr) this year.. The gruesomest 2 hours of my life.
 
i went to fabric on a saturday night about a month ago cos it was one of ma m8s bdays and he booked a VIP table with loadsa us boys and girls. It was the on edge of the balcony overlooking room 1. I was seriously disapointed in the music aswell as atmosphere. The mood only reli picked up at like 4 in the morning, but the club was more packed than ive ever seen it.

Looking into room 1 people were just all squashed up shoulder to shoulder shuffling quietly to the beat. No raving what so ever. i made a trip to room 2 which was an improvement as people moved a tad more but obv didnt touch an actual rave.

I find with all this shite minimal stuff that the drop takes forever to come, with a mamouth build up which cuminates in the bass drum being introduced. To which everyone starts cheering and clapping!!!! and im left thinking "calm down the kick has only come in" before i realise that was the drop.

the club was full of eastern euro's, but all in all wasnt a bad night with the VIP table and waitress service etc but i cant honestly say that il pay to go to another one.
 
Tell me about it. I worked at Junk club in Southampton, they specialise in house music and a lot of the time I find myself falling asleep behind the bar!

I saw a banging electo-house set a couple of weeks ago tho, I was wishing I was on the dance floor at one point cause it was getting intense!!
 
My pal Samurai plays down there alot, he don't play electro though......uk hip hop all the way!
