Outside of the notes being played, it sounds like a mix of a synth with filter env, layered with a mallet/kalimba/perc-organ type sound which gives it those harmonics. You could probably get this sound with one synth instance fairly easily. It can help to use transient shapers on sounds like this, and maybe some multi comp to get the attack in each freq-range just right. That being said, I think what makes sounds like this really work are the harmonies being played, more than the actual synth sound designing.
