I am trying to replicate a certain sound that has been in DnB for along time. It is very common in this song,

Juggernauts (Nero Remix) - Enter Shikari

It is the "Jump up Synth that gives this song all its energy"

I would think it would just be a simple Sidechain attached to a Reese Bass ? But that did not work for me...

Anyone have an idea of how to achieve this sound ? :saber:

Probably not side chain, most likely a play with the attack setting on the filter envelope and an LFO across the whole patch.

It does sound heavily sidechained, but it's probably linked to a muted kick hitting on every beat,

Sounds pretty plain if I'm honest, nothing mind blowing or original.....

Yeah that sounds like exactly it. Just a Trance type sound sidechained to every beat.
