I often get comments saying i make alot of track fast lol:P

I guess i spend about 1-2 hours everyday on producing, some days longer but i rarely leave it alone.

So Im wondering how often and how much time u guys use producing?:)

Unless there is an event or un-swervable commitment I will spend all friday night, all saturday and Saturday night and most sundays producing.

I rarely find I can settle down into a workflow after a full day at work, however it makes me glad that I can produce at the weekend.

depends on how much i'm feeling it... but 2-3 hours per seshion and about 2-3 seshions a week

but i have a jerb, an xbox and a bitch... would do it all day if i could (y)

Couple of hours a day, maybe three days a week. But I have to combine that with a full time job, a missus, and my xbox 360 addiction lol!

when i produce i drink some tea and chill down. producing for me is a time where i can calm down and just be happy so it takes long to finish a track but it's worth it because I'm fitter afterwards :O

every day, all day, its the one thing i can concentrate on that doesnt get me into trouble, got my production speed right up the last few months (1 track a day mostly:), now another 6months polishin off my production i think, i dont intend on going back to an office if i can help it, being broke most of the time is a pain in the arse, but it'll b worth it if i can find a job doin production, eventually!...so if anyone wants to gimie some work...lol :D

I'm somehow on the same ship as miszt. Producing every day, only work for 3 half days a week now, so plenty of time for productions. But yeah, I've got tunes I'm working on for months now.

in my case it depends on many things like weather, university, parties...in average id say i do around 3-4 sessions per week, with each like 3-4 hours, but sometimes more...in march i had holidays and i spent whole days producing, i still need to learn a lot, so i needa spend aloooooot of time (if possible) ;)

It varies week to week. I find it hard to get in the mindset for making tunes before or after my job so I mostly write on weekends. But I try to do something at least once a day. Make a tune, cut up some breaks or just make weird FX. I seem to have a stage each month where I feel most creative and write loads of tunes. But I also get times when i can't think of anything, i hate these times, they are not fun. some new samples, a new CD or a trip up the country tends to sort this out tho. or a spliff.

0 mins - 5/6 hrs a day (MAX) .. whatever im feeling -cant write if i feel like shit!! if im stoned its more likely to be a lengthy production session. Although in honesty those 5/6 hr days are very rare..

dunno how much time i get to spend on producing tbh, it depends on what needs to be done. i normally spend 4-5 hours a night doing music stuff whether it be producing, mixing, chatting to djs/artists, listening to dubs, label bizness etc.. trying to juggle it all aswell as personal commitments is definately quite a challenge.

its a full time thing if u want to make it into a profession. put it that way!! i dont spend nearly enough time producing as i would like to.. i just changed my last post coz i dont even produce anything some days if i feel crappy. somedays its good just to spend a half hour or so touching stuff up, somedays its good to just sit in the studio aaall day, but i only get those days like once every week/2 weeks
