i dont ever really donwload sets..... well..... live rave sets anyway...... would much rather check out a studio mix....... but yeh even then..... if i donwload a set i hardly ever actually listen to it........... theres too many people playing the same old shit.......

only sets i actually ever download now are either Black Sun Empire, Masheen, Paul B, Kemal, Rob Data.... etc...... and a few logan D, Taxman, G Dub sets..... Once you have heard either of them jump-up bods you can pretty much say you've heard every other fukers set for the next couple of months......

Live sets are generally a waste of time.. They have MC's chattering bollocks on them and the quality is shit. My tape pack days are long gone

I listen to old sets for nostalgia occasionally, but these days id rather listen to studio sets or albums than recorded live sets from raves... they tnes to be prwetty attrocious..

    so about 0 per day..

Is the title of this thread a joke btw?

The thing about downloading DJ sets is that in a way its too easy.

The music comes so easy these days. When i was at collegewith no t'internet you had to fork out 15 quid for a tape pack. Now you just click a bunch of links and hey presto a few minutes later you have Hazards latest set from Slamin Concept...

It devalues the music for me, and i think helps to create this throw away environment in whcih the music exsists right now... I know that sound daft but its true.

Id rather here a well cratfed MC-less set of whoever it may be's latest creations, or better still wait for an album and digest it ... Thats a concept lost in dnb i think..

The last one was Calibre's, bought it on CD! stuck it on my ipod and have been letting my ears do the work.. this means i create a relationship with the music on the album, menaing that i get to love those tunes... rather than hearing thejm on some MP3 recorded live

lol... i guess its an age thing.. hmmm..

on the subject. i mainly download radios shows
    crissy cris
    hype
    bailey
    fabio

as standard most weeks, then if there's any pyro radio shows or other things, i'll be on them.

and i only really download a few live sets now that take my interest - i.e - the likes of spectrasoul, perez, shogun crew and associates.
or if it's someone like andy c, friction, randall etc for mixing skillzlzlzlzz.

i might check out some sets if i know some tasty dubs will be in them, but i mainly listen to radio tingz yah.
