so, on a scale of 1 to 10 , how happy are you .. after Indis recent posts about his life, its hard not to be envious

im an 9 i think.. need to get my comp sorted so i can work on music properly, and get a job offering big future prospects, rather than agency work. but on a day to day basis im on about a 9. genrally happy and wouldnt want my days going any different really.

could do with a nice home and kids ect.. but thats for the future.

anyone bored and pissed off at life and want a big change, or anyone super happy and want nothing else ?

    Im about an 8.

Gotta put alot of effort into things at the moment which is draining me a bit, but everything seems to be falling into place which is good.

Been on a good times streak for like a year now.

about -5 at the moment. fed up of going for job interviews and being told no thanks. been unemployed for five months, so no money, been single for seven months, so no sex. been living back at my mums for four month, so no going out and getting fucked up with my mates. pretty demoralising, if anything.

Things are pretty crappy, my workplace has given most of the staff a cutback on our hours till business picks up again, so im only earning just enough to pay bills etc but im still employed so things could be worse as they got rid of a few people recently aswell.

Just a pain in the ass not having that extra disposable income to treat myself with as i was about to grab some new 1210's pretty much the same week they announced cutbacks, so its just a waiting game at the minute

This time last year I was at 11, but I'm at about 7 right now.

I broke up with my girl a few months back (the african girl), and been getting used to single life. I'm having difficulty getting my work visa for China this year, so I'm on the cusp of a career change, but before I can do that, I need to come back home for a bit and find out what else I can do. Which means living with my parents. The last 3 years or so have been really intense, but I'm used to it now, regardless of it being China. So now my whole system is gonna be in upheaval again. Which is what its all about. Its all about making the most of what options you have. Yes I broke up with my girl and I'm having difficulty getting my visa, but this means I have the opportunity to travel again and live somewhere else, and go through all the crazy shit again.
I'm still getting girls left and right, so I'm not too stressed. I'm still happy. And this is gonna be fun, it always is.
I'm thinking about either going back to Thailand or going to Brazil. We'll see.

Right now: 9 - just recorded a mix and I think it went very well, listening through it right now

Overall: Meh... 4 - I'm 25 years now and I'm still badly lacking a direction in my life

    I'd say, 9.

In my personal life I'm 100% happy, I live with my Mum still but she's cool & we get on really well, I have a car, I have all the basic nicities that I need/want. I have some of the best freiends I could wish for. I also have a lovely boyfriend who makes me the happiest I've ever been. My borther & sister are ace too.

Work wise isn't so great & I'm just trying to finish my apprenticeship in peace before I decide what to do next. Moves in the futre are making me sit tight where I am, but when I move on I will be changing career. No doubt about it.

I try to be positive toward life, I try to smile all the time & I do think it helps with things.

yea im like this as of today, i got told my hours have been chopped, i was working 2.30pm - 5.00pm everyday, so 12.5 hours a week, for just under 1400 a month, getting 720 cash in hand, and 650 from my acutal agency, just been bagged off with the cash in hand, but got more agency hours, so living on 750 a month for a while. should be enough to cover rent tax ect.. but at least im not out of a job.. im gunna look for another job on weekends or mornings, and open some doors, see what happens.. might lead to me doing something totally different and being happy doing it .. lets see...i know of people (safety ) and got mates out of work with no bird , so it could be worst, least i still got a few beer tokens , i dont start till 2.30pm, and i get my nob sucked if i cook a good dinner..

gotta draw the postives out of these situations, least im not starving in some country not knowing what a pub is or nice clothes, we got alot.. i rekon if we went to a 3rd world country to do voulenteer work and see how they live ect.. 18 hour days working in an alley on the floor cutting fish all day, sleeping on the floor behind some bins or something, 7 days a week.. i think ud come home, and your self happiness would soon increase, its easy to take for granted what we have.. meh.. cant be fucked..were all on the internet under a roof with food in our cupboards with a t.v. in the house, it could be worse.. but it could be better.. and yea, ive got a few beers on the go, drunk interwebbing getting depressed

People should honestly be more positive.

You have one life, you could see everything as bad or everything as good. Don't have a job? Then do something about it and work for it, doesn't mean life is shit, it means life is sorting out the weak from the strong and who can keep a hold of it all.

Sure, I'm still pretty young, I've got no pressure on my performance, but I still have a lot of stress involved, and I tend to be calm as fuck in any situation. My mate asks me if his breath smells like he's bein smoking, can tell and I say put a penny in his mouth or something and he'll be fine. He was, no worries.

at the minute i'm a ten but ive worked up to this over the last 3 years.

ive got a well paid easy job with really fantastic prospects

    good home and gf.

just had our first child (an it was a boy)

nearly two years clear of all drugs n fags etc.

so yeah, am the happiest ive ever been but i miss the old life incredibly. i miss staying up all weekend, going out on the pull, casino's, jithering n chatting my bollox off with emense lockjaw, raves etc. this is the one thing that i really miss yet i know in order to keep happy to a ten level i have to keep these at bay.

I'm on about an 8.5 at the moment, but guaranteed on saturday I'm going to be 100!!!

Still need a job when I move to Brizz, but fingers crossed I should get one quite easy.

I've been quite lucky really, the first house I've found has been perfect both times I've moved, and jobs have just popped up at the perfect time!!

But saturday I'm going to be at least 100 out of 10!

    :D

I'd say a 10! I have one of the most awesome girlfriend's in the world, who I love to bits. I'd do anything for her, and she's do the same for me.
I got a good family life going on. Great parents, two wicked sisters and two troublesome but awesome nephews.
Plus things are finally moving forward for Trak, Slick and myself. We finally got our releases going out there. Had some stuff played on radio. Getting more gigs on the regs too. I just wish that my brother was still on this earth to see all this with me.

I'll admit actually its not the money that im too fussed about, its the fact my workplace has lost its soul, im a painter/varnisher for a modern/classic yacht company that make very exclusive handmade yachts, i love my job and when the job requires the team will work 50/60 + hour week in week out to make awesome boats, and the teamwork requires alot of dedication and it pays off, we won a queens award last year which is one of the best achievements a small company can receive

To see the workshop grind to a halt over the last few months is soul destroying

    need more :cowbell:
