im 100% sure it has a U in it..

but google seems to think its color. which doesn't look right at all..

infact, there's quite a few words it gets wrong..

aswell is one word.. not two. it thinks infact isn't a word at all.. it tries to replace the S with Z alot of the time aswell... (also thinks 'alot' isn't a word)

 am i being stupid? .. has the dictionary been re-written?

also, why do kiwi's say, 30 april instead of 'the 30th of april' ... makes them sound like fucking retards.

is there a setting to change it to UK English?

because its basically correcting me to be wrong... which makes me sound like I'm an idiot in emails and other forums. I do that enough on my own without this nonsense...

On google chrome type "chrome://settings/languages" into the address bar and change it to UK english.

What about the date format, US would write today's date as 4-30-2013 and UK would write it as 30-4-2013. That gets me sometimes.

ok, got it on UK english..

you actually have to delete the US english, or it defaults back..

and google refues to download UK english dictionary for spell checking  what a stupid browser this is.

True, but some Brits (including me  ) often measure height in feet for some reason

    - - - Updated - - -

Before I moved out here when I was 8 I remember people measuring their weight in stones too

Doesn't the UK only use the Metric system for certain measurements? At least we are thorough with our stubbornness.

And for anything science-related where exact numbers are critical, the Metric system is used in the US.
