I've listened to this time of sweeping down drum fill on a lot of liquid drum and bass tracks. Someone told me it is just some filtering going on, but I can't seem to reproduce this sound as I want.

    It goes like this:

Is it snares or something else? I can't figure it out

Wow... Dexcell, like this Dexcell? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5HAveREsJo

Anyway, thanks for the tip! I think it is something like that with a resonant highpass filter sweeping down, or something like that...

Is there any sample pack you recommend for this type of percussive sounds?

    Cheers

Can't listen right now bit can almost guarantee what you're looking for is out of the Danny Byrd sample pack.

Dexcell is spot on. Its a 808 snare sample pitched down through the 16ths. Cheesy ad fuck though wouldnt recommend it.

think it really is from the danny byrd sample pack, fairly easy to make tho as sammy said.

and for the record, i like this effect every once in a while. its like kickrolls and break-fills - everything in moderation.
