how do i rip film quotes

If its a famous quote you can probably get it from t'internet, try this site...

http://www.moviewavs.com

If not, get the film, use a DVD Ripper to rip it to DVD, then a converter to convert it into a wav file. Tis quite long-winded but try Xilisoft programs, thats what I use...

hmmm thats a well long way of doing it, what you should do is plug the audio of you dvd player into your computer......

if you dont know how, theres two ways you can do this....

1. if you have one of those scart to phono adapter things, plug it in to your dvd player, connect either a phono-phono lead or a phono-jack lead (depending on your soundcard connectors) and plug it in to the line in on your computer

or

2. plug your dvd into the telly as normal, plug a jack-phono or a jack-jack lead into the headphone socket on your telly and plug that into the line in on your computer

then....

when youve done that open a wave editor, if you dont have one download audacity (its free) make sure its set to record from line in, then play the dvd at the part you want and record

you can also do this to record anything from your telly :)

O christ, what a load of bad advice.

Search for this answer, I've answered it a million times. You don't need to convert anything or use any cables.
