How can I make this sound?

    Can someone talk me through how to make this synth in massive? Have a listen to the song I've linked on youtube. The sound I want to get is that dance bass reesey thing that drops at 1:03.

    a single sawtooth wav mate, get a 303 emulator or something similar

    in massive:

    one osc, pitch -32, wavetable sin-squ, wt full, intens full, hit C3 keyboard, play with attack release of amp envelope, no fx, a square on its own sounds so ugly... :)

    yep completely nuke a saw wave with distortion & compression then pull it back.
    with technicals, cut the signal so the sub is not effected but the mid/high is and give the high some very slight stereo work (very slight!)

    Maximizers and exciters would be another option.
