sick tune, sick beat... HOPSINS ALBUM , comes out on the 10th apparently!
Man hasn't got shit on Tyler, calling his name to get a hype, whilst simultaneously giving the image of being "alternative" with his whack ass contacts, just as much as the guy he's trying to cuss...
Rappers are like fucking Emos these days, its like "i'm more wierder & non-conformist than the next rapper, therefore i'm real", fuck off.
But Hip hop IS fucking dead, so none of this matters anyway.
i cant argue with that...
Na its all opinion man, the beat is sick no doubt & his flow & delivery are on point.
But its just a hype thing for me, calling his name etc & then calling himself the saviour of hip hop, even if its tongue in cheek its so cliched it makes me cringe...
he dresses up as a woman and wears white out paint.....
Hopsin has made a few tunes tunes with rather off kilter vids, its not a one off, i guess cussing out tyler was weak but tylers done that loads in interviews etc. so swings and roundabouts, its not like when hip hop was 'alive' people never called out other rappers, its hip hop thats what they does, its healthy in my opinion, unless your 2 pac & biggie, tunes ok-ish alot better than most dribble elsewhere, and hip hip isnt quite dead just yet, just need to dig a bit and its all good, i still like it, the new york scene is thriving with good stuff
hip hop aint dead, its just restin
fuck it, I kinda like it. And hip-hop ain't dead....... i hope.
hopsin is dope as fuck but him dissing tyler is nonsense, hes just trying to dickride other LA rappers by saying that. he calls out so many names, obama to rick ross. its a common trick to get attention championed by 50 cents thats actually managed to carve a whole career out of it without any discernible talent whatsoever. if only it was that easy in dnb, well i guess i could shout on forums about embers or maek jamp ap
I won't post exact examples, Action Bronson is my favourite guy at the moment, Mayhem Lauren, Slain, Shaz Ill York, Sean Price etc. Statik Selektah on the production too, theres a nice little click going on with those guys, youtube them and see what you think, its what i see as real underground Hip Hop, its never gonna see the mainstream but it's still there, IN MY BIG ASS OPEN ONION, tonnes of free mixtapes from those guys aswell, gunkster shit ya hear
action bronson is brilliant but he needs the right producers. bronson did a song on wu tangs latest album called meteor hammer so big things for him in the future. i somehow think they put him on cos his flow has been likened to ghost so much and he really pulled back on it on that song, in fact so much his verse falls a little flat
Nah he killed it on that track IMOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
He's just cool as you can cooler, don
