Horrible Crackling Noise When Recording Mix

I've been working hard on new mixes and I've come up with some amazing sets, I feel like.

But, everytime I record one in Audacity about halfway through it, I get this horrible crackling noise that ruins the mix. (that's during playback, not during recording.)

It's really pissing me off.

I tried changing to all one power strip. I moved buffer up and down. Noise reduction process in Audacity.

I'm out of ideas and about ready to just buy a new laptop. I can't have this.

How are you recording dude?
RCA to mic input? Usb interface?
Have you got the power supply plugged in? Some laptops will give you interference when plugged in.
Sounds odd that it only comes in half way through.

RCA to Line in on my MacBook

I can upload a section so you can hear the noise, if that might help.

My gains are way down. I'm not overloading the signal cause the levels stay green the whole time.

I'm going to buy a new RCA cable as a next fix.
