Well, it's time for a new TV topic; after a never to be mentioned again ending to a show which I will make an effort to avoid mentioning again in the future, I for one am still pumped and excited for this season of Showtime's Homeland! Who's with me?

No it is paid for cable tv. No commercials. Do you guys not have ten minutes of commercials for every twenty minutes of t.v? If not can anybody get me a green card. God save the Queen and all that.

the standard is 2x 4 minute ad breaks per 30 minutes of broadcasting..generally. except on the BBC...no ads on the BBC.

oh and none of that "we'll be right back after the break" 5 minute ad break "thanks for watching, goodbye"....SERIOUSLY WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THAT?!!"

Homeland is paid cable so, the only commercials are Showtime commercials and they usually happen after the shows (since they're around 50-55 minutes per episode).

    Re: Homeland Season 3

Besides the sex, it is an American adaptation of an Israeli show. Basically, an American pow is found in a compound eight years after he was presumed dead. When he was found everybody in the U.S. rejoices for the return of our long lost hero. Political connections are maid and family drama ensues. Meanwhile a neurotic bi-polar C.I.A. agent suspects this prisoner may be a terrorist spy.
The show can be complex and emotionally compelling. The best part is there are no heroes, only shitty people doing shitty stuff for reason that are sympathetic. One of the best shows I have seen, and I personally think from the little I know about you Papa, you would enjoy the show because of its dynamics.

Well, think I'm done watching the show. They really sailed into the hurricane with that finale.

i already gave up, its got nothing to do with the first season, which, to me, was the epitome of a kickass series. once the initial pain had subsided and my vast imagination had aclimiatized to the molestation
