    Sounds like some square or something hollow, really low + resonant. Found in loads of tech tracks.

    Some examples;

    the list can go on

    I can get something a little like it with tonnes of chain filtering eq's etc. But I don't think I'm going in the right direction.

    if your on logic the efm makes sounds similar, add reso, do the usual split freqs with distortion..heres my attempt at it..not perfect http://soundcloud.com/felun/accusticks

    Ahh really? I can never seem to get it sounding the same.. With some phase mod and layered up a little but not very hollow.

    This is all I can get with Magyr osc on Massive and loads of chain FX. http://www62.zippyshare.com/v/19764157/file.html

    Yea try distorting some sine waves, low pass them, detune them slightly, add a touch of reverb (do all the mods u want etc), then highpass the sub out and layer with a square sub
