Great news for sample based producers
Yeah okay, but since there are no audio clips available I'll say: first seeing then believing.
I can't just think that it could break down tunes perfectly in let's say bassline, drums, violin, etc.
So as long it's not proven with audio files or with me testing the software I'll say I don't believe it.
EDIT: I see they have a trial version, so I'm downloading now.
So I just tested it out, loaded up a tune.
Copied the notes from the vocal and let them play alone, there was just a very fucked up acapella with a little drums in it, a little synth in it and a lot of volume duckings and such, because there were also pieces of vocal in the bass and guitar tracks. So it looks cool and such, but it isn't really useful.
Yup this looks like a bloated version of melodyne..
