Well I have to start with album of the year so far (and probably all year imo). Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly. The word classic get's thrown around too much in hip hop, but this will genuinely be considered a classic of this "generation" of hip hop. The production is phenomenal. You can tell there's a plethora of artists, musicians and expert ears that have gone into making it. Kendrick's lyrics and flow have not only developed but also elevated from his last album. Choice cuts: He goes off in this Snoop's litte verse in this is some doggystyle shit. First part isn't great, but that sample in the middle and how it's incorporated into the second beat is awesome.
