The difference between stem mastering and normal mastering is you can take full advantage of the 24 channel Solid State logic summing mixer. Stem mastering also allows for a lot more precise master as we have full control over a maximum of 12 stereo channels. Many factors go into a stem master where as a master quite simple is one track mastered through a mastering chain.

Most people opt for mastering and not for a stem master. Stem mastering is good if you are unsure about levels in your track.
 
I'm not sure if this is a legal/morally acceptable question but do you have any 'before & afters' that are available to listen to?

I'm not questioning your skillz or anything haha, just for my own selfish benefit really :rolleyes:

Also are there any requirements for the tracks that are submitted? Like leaving *db headroom and that kind of thing? I'm a complete beginner so sorry for all the questions!
