Hi guys! My name is Sarah and I've been a DnB lover for ages, moved back to the UK last year to get a masters degree but still struggling to find mates here (currently living in Leeds). Quite a few interesting events going on (Andy C in November!) but I'm missing out on a lot of them because I don't know anyone who would come with me! Any suggestions on how to find other dnb people? Thanks a lot :D

Thanks mate. I don't know, you mean going by myself? I sometimes find it hard to do that especially since I'm a girl. I once went to a rave with a friend and she had to leave early so I stayed and danced with random strangers but everyone was sort of drunk and didn't really get to meet anyone properly. Also looks like everyone else moves in packs or small groups at least. It's really frustrating!
 
Yeah that's understandable, although i'd like to think dnb nights aren't quite as a bad as standard ones can be if you went alone. There's a group on fb called what's drum & bass which has quite a few leeds heads that use it regularly so that could be a good starting point?

Yes it is better than other scenes but still not that easy. Thanks I'll try asking in the group! :)
