i can't scrath - my part is just beat manipulation.

from the way you're describing a strobe in the other thread, i think this is the same thing that I had always heard referred to as a "float". I realize turntablist terminoligy is hardly stardardized by any means. ive mostly always done this little juggle w/ hip hop. Ive made a few attempts at it w/ dnb in the bedroom but ive always been afraid to do it out pubically. cuz when you fuck up... you can REALLY fuck up.

i dont like the tune either any more. but doubling up with tunes is great cos u can create some nice original sounding stuff out of almost anything, even twist em out. i n fact, like i said, twist em out does work especially well. try it n see ;)
